I read dingpatch's statement of politics and what caught my interest most was the space x international internet as the enemy of the Chinese state. The problem is that China is exporting their heavily controlled internet to other governments, lots of them. Those governments want the kind of control China now has. That's a reach of literally billions of people. Those people are pacified by their state imposed ignorance. ------------------------- "One of the reasons why propaganda tries to get you to hate government is because it's the one existing institution in which people can participate to some extent and constrain tyrannical unaccountable power." I agree with johnnyboy. BUT, it seems that SpaeX will have access to the real, actual, "World Wide WEB" without any geographically controlled "national" internets? Right or wrong? Talk about Death Threats! I'm sure that there will be more than a few governments that would favor armed intrusion to shut down the offensive servers.
Now, just what can be done to control these "Wild Cards" like SpaceX? ------------------------- Dora Hates You Edited: 11/11/2019 at 07:14 AM by dingpatch |

They will attack the satellites. The solution could be to send scores of cube Sats and nano sats. How long would it take for over a billion people to buck a system that controls, ranks and directs everything. A year?
