And originally, "A Well Regulated militia" and "being part of a Free State" meant being part of the National Army or nowadays called the National Guard. That's also Originalism.
No, it is not. That would be a departure from originalism. It is beyond clear that the right to own arms is personal. You'd do well not to rely on prog sources for your information. By definition, it will make you look like an idiot when you parrot it.

A single case interpreting the constitution exists, but it was not decided with the originalist doctrine. Once again, because you're wrong and old, originalism was the basis to remove the right to an abortion under well settled precedent. Originalism would not allow these same hypocritical Justices to overrule Roe on the basis that no such right was actually and specifically stated in the Constitution and yet find such a right to presidential immunity in the same constitution, which also says nothing about such a novel and recent immunity. The Nixon case did NOT use originalism as the basis of their civil liability immunity. On the contrary, it was logic right in line with Roe that allowed that court to protect Nixon with that liability waiver.

This is how progs get their wrong-headed ideas.

They did not find a right to presidential immunity in the Constitution. They found it in common law. Apples and oranges.

They won't rule for immunity. It's just a group of activist judges working/buying time for their political candidate.
