Here is a link to a Swaylocks thread , in it tells a bit of the history of MTB, scroll down to Mike Daniels' reply. I would send a pic to their MTB Facebook page and maybe Donnie could tell you, good luck!

Donnie Mulhern was the glasser, Tak was the shaper, Brummett was the artist . MTB. A very valuable, rare , work of art.

Neat artwork.

The pattern on the board to the left reminds me of going through the IKEA store in Orlando...

Classic! I saw my first pair of tities airbrushed on an old MTB when I was a wee little grom.. I think it was a topless cowgirl riding a dolphin? maybe some bush too! The board was in MTB forever but not for sale. Have not been in there in over 10 years but I bet its still there.

That is a Phil Roberts airbrush job you refer to Longbeard, I always look for it when I go to MTB, it's still there and still not for sale!

I still have the edition of Waverider magazine that has the Phil Roberts special with the photos of that and other boards. I actually have one of the boards that was hanging in MTB for years - the twin fin with the hand drawn "Gee Bee" Air racer airplane on the deck.

SURFSMURF.  I would love to see the Gee Bee fish.  When I was a kid and I remember seeing a RS fish on the used board rack at QF with a Gee Bee on it.  I dream about finding that board, just to see it again.  I think it belonged to 4th street Bob, but it's been about 20 years, so who knows.  Is your MTB a RS?  Cool board Mums7873, you sure do get some good ones.

Andy, yes that is the board. I remember it hanging on the wall of MTB for years and I spotted it hanging with other vintage boards from the ceiling of what was then University Surf and Sport across from UCF. It took me years of hounding the owner of the shop before he would finally sell it to me. I'll try and take some pictures for you.

I'm no good at posting links, but the MTB on his website is out of control.
