1. 9 3/4 inch with an 8 inch base. Justin Quintal style. Solid Black Walnut. "Close" style clear bead. Leading edge is built up with 8.75oz Volan rail tape prior to foiling. Rear screw. Glassed with 2 layers of 6oz E Glass using Silmar 249A. $65
2. 7 1/8 inch with a 5 1/2 inch base. Sunrise glue-up of Redheart and Aspen. "Close" clear bead (front bead is 9 layers of 8.75oz volan for durability). Front screw. Some flex. SOLD 3. 7 inch with a 5 1/4 inch base. Solid Hawaiian Koa that is over 100 years old. Clear bead is filled with chopped gun roving. Glassed with 1 layer of 6oz E glass using Silmar 249A polyester resin. Decent flex. SOLD 4. 8 1/8 inch with 5 inch base. Horizontal bamboo glue-up with nice springy flex. Clear light green bead. Front screw. Glassed with 1 layer of 6 OZ. $40 5. 9 inch with a 6 1/4 inch base. Sunrise glue-up of West Indies Mahogany (from St. Croix) and Fir. Clear beed is filled with chopped gun roving. Glassed with 2 layers of 6oz cloth. SOLD 6. 7 inch with a 5 1/2 inch base. Sunrise glue-up of Hawaian Koa and Bamboo. Fairly stiff, but some flex. "Beadless"; in that it does not have my usual molded, thick, bead. The front edge is reinforced with 9 layers of 8.75oz Volan rail tape prior to foiling, the rear edge is the plain tails of the glass (sort of like how your hands are put together in prayer. Front screw. Glassed with 1 layer of 6oz E glass. SOLD 7. 10 3/8 inch with a 7 1/4 inch base. Sunrise glue-up of Virgin Island Mahogany and Bamboo. Clear green bead. Rear screw.
