I have a brand new Nikon AF-S 55-300mm lens I'll sell you if you go Nikon. I'm going to be putting it up online soon so let me know if you're interested.

The 55-200mm isn't long enough for surfing pics and tbh the 300mm still isn't enough for my liking. I'm going to try and get my hands on the Tamron 150-600mm pretty soon tho

What are you looking to get for the lense? Is it a VR?

Good question on the VR.

Another good thing to know is if the lens is a DX model or FX? (As far as nikons go)

I use the 55-300 and yes sometimes is does leave something to be desired but is still a pretty kick ass lens length. Especially for those breaks that aren't that far out. : typhoon lagoon, SB, shore pound, etc.

It's designed for a DX body and has VR. I'm looking to get $190 for it. I already listed it on ebay tonight but I would much rather sell local to avoid fees. If you are serious about buying shoot me a PM.

I'd buy that lens if I didn't already have it.

Bodies for Nikon d3100 d3200 d3300 are all running pretty cheap these days. But know that those models are not considered full frame.

That being said. I love my setup. D3300 with the above lens.
