BTW -nice photos I am ballpark 155 but personally for me it was too much volume. I have talked to people my same weight that really like the 5'3 and 5'4. But I have also talked to people around my weight who ride the 5'1 and 5'0. In weaker surf it rides well.. The drive you get off these boards is like something I have never expierenced. The board does a lot more of the work for you, allowing for you to concentrate on executing yout turns. This board really does ride in all conditions we see in Florida.

I am 6'1 also but 155.. If you feel comfortable on boards with 26L-28L the VG would probably work well for you. It is not a squirily board. It can be tossed around but if you are coming from longboarding I think you would really enjoy the way this board flows on the face of the wave.
