I'd like to give this board a go, but not for $800. Anyone have feedback or have one I can try or buy? I rode a 6'2" (46.5 L) Evo this weekend. I'm 190 lbs and intermediate skill. |

How was the Evo? I'm your weight so I've been eyeing both boards for a while. |

Talked to a guy coming out of the water at o club on sunday, he offered me to take it for a spin. Caught 4-5 waist-chest waves, front and backside. It was not boggy at all despite the lumpy weak faces. The board floated me well (because it was huge for my size), but still was fast to respond. On one left, i bottom turned and made it out front about twice as far as my 5'10' kech would have taken me. seemed to have tons of drive for my middle aged dad-bod. I ride a 5'2" chris birch mini simmons now, which paddles/floats just fine, and hauls ass, and is great for big soft waves, but i also want something more performance that'll still float me.
Sluggo, why you selling, how much do you weigh, FCS or Future fin boxes? ~44L (per tomo's website) looks a bit on the high side for me. Edited: 09/27/2016 at 06:07 PM by flskimmer |

Don't fear the foam dude. It's my 11 year old sons board and he loves it. He's ready for something new though.
