I use to wade fish all the time in the Indian River years ago. Many of my old spots have condos or are fished out now it seems. Does anybody know of any good spots to get back into the sport? Looking for mainly in Brevard, any ideas?

I used to do well off south tropical trail a couple miles north of pineda. Find a grassy place to pull off on the east side of road and cut through the brush and viola, prime wading flats and docks. Just be careful as some of the shoulders are soft, and some areas may be no parking-haven't been in a while but Im sure you can find a place to pull off.

I usually drop into Gator creek or Peacocks pocket for a few casts when on the way out to P-Linda.

There used to be a trail just north of Whitey's (2 miles north of Sab inlet) years ago; gator trouts.

Not sure if it still there though.

North side of Pineda CsW on the west side of the Banana river. Pull off on side of 404 and shuffle your way north......there are a couple of deep cuts through the flats so sneek up on them for the deep/shallow transistion.

Stokedpanda... The spot your talking about they blocked off with big boulders. They call the cops every time you park there and try to get you towed. People are insane.

Dang, havnt been in a while, I remember there being several areas of shoulder some you had to really bushwhack to get to the water but was worth it!

Seems like my best luck was just west of the islands people ski around (we call it bird SH*t island).
