Thanks cheats. I'm fishing Suntree/Viera.

Will find some grass, the lake I fished is pretty big but the only cover is deeper water (shell bottom) and some lily pads.

Next 5 days is a warming trend on waning moon. I am fishing 4 to 7 feet fishing "holes" in eel grass. Water today was 62 to 67 . If you can, fish with sun overhead to dusk. I dont know where you guys are geographically but I am fishing near Fellsmere, if that helps

^ same-same. Thanks Senor'!

If you are inclined or don't have a boat to run all the way down to the south of Farm13, throw a kayak into Fellsmere. It is fishing good too, worth the effort.

Also, if you like to eat panfish, the St. Johns between 520 and the Beeline is just stupid with the fattest bluegill that I have ever seen chasing mosquitofish and grass shrimp all over the place. A limit on fish >1/2 lb is do-able. And the butter cats, holy crap.

I got no fish Sunday and today.

Tons of beds now but it seems a lot of them are talapia.

I noticed the same thing this weekend in the neighborhood ponds. Ton of Tilapia cruising shallow. Also didn't catch any bass which was unusual for our spot.

New moon tomorrow, next 2 weeks total upswing. Got over 50 yesterday on trickworm and swimbait, super finicky light bite. Almost like they mouthed it to move from beds. Couple 5lbers and 3 over 6
Water is stained in marsh fish were super shallow close to hyacinth mats and bullrush

At least you caught some.

I thought I would do well today with the new moon coming, not so.

The water looks really stained like a car during pollen season.

Nice.

My friend got a good one on a swimbait Saturday, it looked big when it jumped but it threw the hook.

Just caught 4 little 2 pounders in a half hour. 1:30 in the afternoon in a retention pond with a paddle tail shad.

Last 3 days have been epic. one at 11'2, one 10.0, 10.5 a 9.2 and some 8's all out in the swamp. Swamp donkeys have arrived. I will be gone for 4 days for funeral but this full moon is your chance for a piggie
