the pompano are def around the beaches right now in NE FL, but I am getting TONS of shorts, and then one or two nice ones.
Using frozen clams, any ideas one what could help cull the shorts, was thinking putting a fish bite or something harder for the runts to eat on, some guys up here do well with blue crab knuckles but I never have. Also want to try some artificial banana jig and teaser deals but hard to get distance with the wind onshore. ------------------------- I troll 2L.com to be a better person in real life |

Big pomps are usually the first to arive in spring, and last to arrive in fall (can tolerate cooler water than the little guys) |
