Got an invite to join some friends bottom bumping mission out of Mayport on friday... pretty mellow seas, gave opportunity to run out far. Lots of Trigs, some beeliners, a few AJs and my buddy got a 29" Mutton I stuck to focusing on the "stringer fish" (trigs and bees) due to my gimpy wrist (even those lil guys hurt like hell)... long day, got home late... I packed my haul in ice and cleaned them yesterday the 1 Queen Trigger was a 1st, but we let the guy who reeled her take that one home

Looks like you ate well. I saw a guy in Costco buying tilapia. He probably knows they taste like shit and they are farm raised, but hey, fish is fish. He would buy a boat if he could taste some of your haul.

Nice haul! Pro tip: keep your fish bones and make fish broth

Here is a good recipe:

Nice, amazing how good the fishing is once you get out that deep. There are even some yellowtail snapper out there sometimes

You guys do have some amazing fishing out deep. Love those Vermilion snappa. Hot pan, a touch of butter, Adobo con pimienta...yum.
