We are deciding to plant Areka Palms along the fenceline for privacy, and hopefully some future shade. I've seen these to get 15ft tall. We are planting in sandy soil a few blocks from the beach same with the banana trees.
I'm known for killing all types of plants. We don't have an irrigation systems and they will be in full sun. Any tips for what soil to use and a watering schedule to keep these alive long enough to root and be self sustainable? (We are hoping to have something that is low maintenance in the longrun)
