While drier conditions resume midweek, it is Tuesday`s cold front
that has the potential to bring some of the coldest air of the
winter thus far to parts of east central Florida. Ensemble guidance
produces lows in the 30s and 40s for most of the area Wednesday and
Thursday mornings; however, there is plenty of noted spread in
temperatures among the medium range guidance this far out. If the
colder solutions verify, some locations near and north of Interstate
4 could approach the freezing mark both Wednesday and Thursday
mornings. With a residual northwesterly wind Wednesday morning,
wind chills could fall near or below freezing for a period of time
as well. Stay up-to-date on the latest forecasts heading into
next week for more on this midweek episode of cold temperatures.

Behind the rain and afternoon storms, temperatures quickly fall
tonight and range from the mid 30s to mid 40s (north) and the low
to mid 50s (south) ahead of daybreak Wednesday. A brisk northwest
wind will push wind chills into the upper 20s to mid 30s for
locations along and north of Interstate 4.
