Thanks Fishkiller for the linebreak info, at least something in your post made sense.

Yes, the lanes are too narrow for semis, dump trucks and texting, that sucks, been that way since they redid the bike lanes. Before the road furniture, people rode the bike lane and they liked it, guy on a bike, not so much. I drive a full size Tundra and pull a car hauler and have no issues. Same penalty when you drop a wheel off the pavement or hit a curb. Pay attention, it's 35 mph on a straight road for gods sake.

Gonna take some wear and tear but people will get used to it or they will wise up and widen the road. Pay attention and stay back a safe distance until they do.

Oh, and yeah, waiting for no cars in both directions, I will do it no other way because I'm too far between crosswalks, it can take a while.

It's a surf forum. Sometimes you flow with the line, sometimes you break it. ~~~

come to think of it, before the long outage on the forum there used to be different posting options available that are no longer there. i am wondering if there is simply a forum option we dont have access too causing it. if it was on 'my' end, it would not maintain the line breaks on preview either i would think and it would have different behavior most likely on other devices

anyways

preview is a work around for now (really forever)

Just ran up to Publix in Sat and one in the middle was gone. Including the big, yellow inverted pot hole that is screwed to the road. Got a glimmer of hope maybe they were removing the middle ones.

On the way home, a FDOT pickup with a bed FULL of those F**king things was driving around, so they are already replacing them.......

MORONS. No accountability. Government organization with impunity.

To that point, the discussion about the red vs yellow lights. Word has it that it was stated by an FDOT employee outside of a meeitng that they are multi-colored LED's and could be changed to red with a simple programming. That really wouldn't do anything, but farther continues to display their inept ways.

getting pretty good at this line break thing.

Actually, many years ago, the CCB city manager was quoted in the FL Today saying the reason they lowered the speed limit to 35 was to keep everybody under 45. And, almost everybody does drive between 40 and 45. (I did so for 35 years driving to KSC and the Cape and never got a ticket. I got stopped three times and got a warning each time.)

Makes sense to me. The same thing will happen from Satty south I imagine. Like FK said, the speed limit is fine, the bowling pins are idiotic.

Ehh.. except it's all true and makes perfect sense. Everything they've done on the A1A in the past year has been a disaster, and looks like shit.

Had to drive thru that minefield today.. looks even more F'ed up since 48 hours ago.

I think I saw one of the middle hazards already gone.

line
break
so I simply want to hit "enter" and get a line break.... I can't but instead I have to actually write the forum specific code

this forum keeps getting worse.... It took me two hours to simply add photos because the image link button doesn't work for crap. Had to get BB codes for forums

Not sure what all the trouble is, but it's on your end- forum works fine on every computer I've ever posted from- laptop, desktop, phone, Chrome, Firefox, Opera.

The HTML tag is a workaround for those that have an issue on their end.

what happens when you hit enter?

and what exactly is the issue with posting photos

i can post here from my laptop on any browser, my phone, and my ipad. line breaks work for none of them. i would say that is more an indication of a forum account setting somewhere causing it. maybe
