Otter Rock, popular beginner/easy site with a convenient rip conveyer belt along the cliff to a peak, usually pretty soft, longboard-friendly. The 1st was something like a 20 foot day, so Otter was relatively friendly. A bit of poking around and I managed to find someone, looked beginner-ish.
So for subscribers, go to Otter Rock Jan. 1 at 2:49 pm (it won't link). Start at 28 sec (poor put-in spot, too far south) to 4:15. Note the southbound express current toward the end. Then 8:10 to end, continued on next clip. Better entry (you can't see it) closer to the cliff.
Today, Oregon is huge, pretty messy. The webcam at Inn at Cape Kiwanda is a fogged out mess. (tiny link at bottom)
