Has anyone answered why we didn't make an effort to get our people out prior to abandoning the country?

Has anyone discussed why we didn't remove or destroy all the weapons, humvees, helicopters, and equipment before we pulled out of the country??? The Taliban are running around like it Christmas, showing off their new rifles, sights, night vision goggles, vehicles...

Why did we abandon Bagram Air Base, which had plenty of runways so that we now have to rely on the one in Kabul, which only has a single runway? We have to beg the Taliban for permission to get to the airport in Kabul.

Who is running the show with this shit? Who is responsible for the planning or lack thereof? We can both decide that we need to cross a street but you can either look both ways and run or close your eyes and hope for the best. I think plenty of people wanted out of Afghanistan but Biden and friends just decided to close their eyes and hope for the best.
