Cocoa Beach is chest high, clean and peaky. No one out for miles (except for me and my son in about ten minutes).

It was all fun and games until Carcharodon Carcharias decided to dominate the outside peak. You'll know him when you see him: BIG guy, bodysurfer, all gray wetsuit. Ejected Cole and I from the lineup this evening with not a word of protest from either of us.

The submarine surfaced in front of pse and he was 100 yards from me. I thought it was a Pilot Whale, but it never resurfaced. I've seen Bulls, Tigers, Hammerheads, you name it. . . this thing?

A friend of Katherine?

pse, check out the color and shape of the Pectoral fin in this pic.

Cole, that's crazy. I was out like 2 hours by myself before I saw you. I saw pretty big ray jump and there was definitely bait, but that's freaky.

I tried to make myself believe it was a Manta Ray, but I definitely saw a pectoral fin.

Hey Cole, great shorebreak this afternoon.
Rode as many of those hollows lefts as I could in your absence.
Waste not...

Just 1 year and 1 month later, guess who's offspring came through to visit

Spot should be called CS-3.
No, not Cole's Super-Secret-Sandbar.
Cole's Supersize-Shark-Sanctuary.

Fun down south in MB this morn, even with the T/O/D, nice little peaks. We'll take it, tomorrow back to the salt mine. If this warm weather & water keeps up the fully may stay packed away.

My son said he saw a giant swirl, then we got creeped out and went in.

As if the Spinners, Black Tips and the occasional Bull aren't bad enough? Now we have these things!

....and just when the horror of the Jaws movie posted began to fade from my youthful memory.

I think they were just the tracking info for the Osearch sharks.

I'd love to see an inshore pic of a Great White to solidify our suspicions.

I did a solo session yesterday;empty beach, empty line-up, grey sky, grey water, birds diving, fish swirling...and I freaked myself out after two waves. Every bump, swish and swirl had the grinning Great White face to it. lol

I always wished for less people in the water, now I'm not so sure??
