Flickr. I was using an old but versatile lens (a bit slow focusing) on my second-best camera. The best has some features for following birds, trains, surfers, whatever. Nothing special in terms of photos but light from about 2 to 4 pm was great. Earlier, dark enough to cause problems. These are quick edits. About 1000 images to poke through.

Big crowd. Lots of happy surfers to shoot. I should have been giving the #1 camera a workout, but #2 was working pretty well, considering that lately I've mostly been working on this year's garden light show.

The Garden has been a good kid-friendly party. Next Friday and Saturday is the last weekend. Sunday isn't yet official, but 95% sure we'll add that. I've wanted to install a bodyboard or something in that wave-like sea grape arch, but haven't figured out how. Maybe a bunch of fish underneath? I found that blue LED spotlights from Lowe's emit a lot of ultraviolet, so maybe next year, a bunch of UV-paint fish hanging from a tree?

50 additional or re-edited photos, including some sequences.

Guys were wearing everything from trunks to fullsuits. I think below 70. Late afternoon, I was a bit cooler than I'd like in a 2mm short sleeve.
