Nice swell, too bad its just blasting on the beach. Hope your mileage was better than mine. I knew i was at the wrong place when i was surrounded by three body boarders, and they were backing out of waves. On the plus side water was warm, got a paddle in, and caught a wave, in.....

Affirm, short rides, shallow inside bar, thumpish. Caveat, it is not flat.

Found one left that attempted to stay open, and that even took the perfect swell from the perfect angle. Hardly worth the effort.

Looks like a great week to be in PR, with something for us around Friday, as the Atlantic turns into a giant wave machine. Update: Surfline has 14 sec for us and PR starting Fri. Bigger there, of course.

Closeout city at most spots, but there are some "rip bowls" that create enough of a kink in the line to offer occasional corners. I've found a couple setups that yielded decent rides. Still probably 75% closeouts with 25% makes at the best "rip bowl". At lower tides some major dredging zippers. Late week with longer interval could prove especially challenging with a higher closeout rate due to increased interval. With enough size and a lower tide the deep outside sandbar could come into play. Looks that a ton of swell for the foreseeable future, to bad the bottom is so out of wack otherwise we'd be looking at some major stoke.
