She brings it.  I hear a little Johnette Neapolitano from Concrete Blonde.  I dig her.

I got the 21 album. It is very good. Every song is good. I particularly like song #10 Lovesong, a remake of the cure song.

yeah! this girl really can sing. I like all her songs. too bad, if the rumors are true, that she has got her voice box or something messed up and she can not sing at all. and that is the reason why she has cancelled her road shows or something. maybe over exertion from singing. i hope this "disease" gets away from her and get into justin bieber instead. lol.

Yep, I hear that too. Like it. I could envision a little layer of James Mankey guitar with that. A little flashback for comparison :
here

And if I had the choice, I'd take the voice I got, 'cause it was hard to find...

That chick is a class act. She simply got up at the grammys and SANG!! didnt put on a dog and pony show like all the other BS acts, especially that last one (Niki Manaje..sp?) what a piece of crap performance. Adele let her voice be the show-piece and every note she sang was spot-on!! Also, liked Dave Ghrols comment on not being perfect and learning to PLAY an INSTRUMENT and not depend on technology to create music. He said its whats in your heart and head that counts. Couldnt agree more. Then the bastards cut him off.. Long live Rock & Roll!!!

"To me this award means a lot because it shows that the human element of making music is what's most important. Singing into a microphone, learning to play an instrument and learning to do your craft, that's the most important thing for people to do," Grohl said as the band accepted their best rock performance trophy for "Walk." "It's not about being perfect. It's not about sounding absolutely correct. It's not about what goes on in a computer. It's about what goes on in here (your heart) and what goes on here (your head). ... Long live rock 'n' roll!"

This could wind up under NSR before too long, but via Facebook and courtesy of one of my moveon.org-reading liberal relatives, this was funny as hell:

I downloaded songs of hers in increments as I heard them on the radio, but I went ahead and downloaded the rest of 21. My goodness, I wish I had earlier- it's one of those albums I don't think I'll ever get tired of, like my Bruce Hornsby and Elton John (I have to have those if I was on a deserted island!).

Boring Pop.  The Grandmas consistently underwhelm.  Hey lets have Foster the People sing the Beach Boys!

btw, Adele's new album that came out today, "25" is really good. Listened to it twice so far. What a voice and songwriter.

I respect her talent but to me most the songs sound the same.....dont see what the big deal is, I feel like most people just band wagon her? Same chords and range

Well, its not bubble gum pop. Its soulful R&B. If that's not your bag it is not your bag. To me she has a great voice. Her songs all stand on their own and are timeless. I understand that some people will turn off against her due to her popularity and/or it is not heavy metal/ punk/EDM. To me Adele is one of the true musical artist out there in contemporary times. Glad I jumped on the bandwagon back in 2011...
