Bela Fleck is pretty good 'progressive' bluegrass if that's a genre. I really liked his jazz albums.

I saw him and flecktones in New Orleans decades ago. He is a pioneer and a trailblazer.

No doubt. "Drive" - one of my fav. progressive bluegrass albums headed up by Bela. Still regularly listen to that album.
