Federal rules being rolled back or rolled back by the GOP in the last couple of years.
So we have a clean water movement in Florida with "Captains for Clean Water" and what not. They are upset about the algae blooms, Lake O barfing on the estuaries, lakes that are hyper-eutrophic and flipping from plant dominated to plankton dominated turbid shit holes like Lake Apopka. They blame the state's aquatic plant management (while forgetting that the GOP has been in control of that for decades and ignoring the invasive plant management football that has been variously punted from GFC to DNR to DEP and on to FWC). Are those people happy with the Desantis-Approved Trump/GOP destruction of a lot of relevant air and water quality regulations? Clean water was part of what lifted DeSantis over Opie Putnam. DeSantis agrees with everything Trump and the national GOP do so are his water quality voters happy?
