Well....well....welll.....it does look active indeed out there off shore. So many variables to play with. I'd Like to have a little fun and throw it out there to see what everyone thinks will happen in Central Florida Saturday and Sunday? Sunday- looks to be coming together nicely- but love to hear what our local part time meteorologists have to say? Brevard vs Volusia- Saturday vs Sunday etc. ?? Anyway you slice it, we could have a nice diversion from the real world this weekend - its time to focus on something that actually means something- SURF!!

Too many variables to call that this early.... depending what weather model you look at, sunday could be firing, or howling onshore. Saturday morn is the closest to a sure bet for fun clean surf on fast floaty boards

Yes, Teddy's swell will be pushing north... bet OBX would be worthy of drive. In meantime does still look solid up here for the current swell, solid lines still coming in outside OH, and hopefully it'll still be there in afternoon so can get in a session after work since only have to work morning tommorow

At least it isn't winter! Then again, with how crowded the beach is you'd probably have a hard time even finding a place to stay. It is nuts.

was super fun friday! & not too bad on saturday.... til it all fell apart.

Uh, Sunday was real fun at one spot, the one that is best at full hi-tide, Getting a few then walking back up cause of the drift. Fun until I took one of the points of the swalllow tail to the back/shoulder pin dropping on a bad choice of a wave, barely missed a full on eye pierce..not ready for the pirate look yet. Pics have no scale for size...kinda like that.....and a random pic of my road to happiness nearby... Should be the same Monday..ice pak rinse/repeat.

Not an expert here, but is it that NE system that's influencing Teddy's predicted direction (and keeping it away from here)?

It does look like the Northeast US will take a beating

Increased probability of jobs and chores offset by potential surf and upper level trof of extended summer flat coming to seasonal closure. Potential for various relationship disturbances increases with surf quality. Weekend likely diminishes toward early week Monday with increasing onshore winds and work obligations.

SurferMic that's a funny place. It can hurt you or reward you, and it takes a lot of sessions to get it right , but when you do it's special .Been a long time since I've caught it special

I am almost a semi-local down there..My skate background draws me to this wave (air drops) every time it breaks...been known to snap a board , come home piece it back together with some 249a & 4oz, skim coat of 250 resin and return the following AM. and snap the board again usually right over above the 1st repair? I love 15-30 MPH on shores, which makes living in Floriduh alright. There are some spots that have changed over the years and very few that have stayed the same..this one has been reliable every year...

Surfline's Fort Pierce Inlet cam shut down this morning. Must have been shaken to death. A couple of clear images from Volusia Co., notably Flagler Ave. where the lifeguard tower has a red flag and there's no one in sight. Cocoa Beach Pier cam is clean, also no one in sight. (11 am) Wed. looks promising.

Palm Beach is Victory at sea with the full moon high tide overwhelming Flagler in west palm. The intracoastal is coming up through the storm drains, the beach is all but gone and you can the roots of the sea grapes and the dark soil as each wave drags rug from under it.
