Ooooooh, I'm ready to book a trip. I also just got a link to a Taco Trail in Concord and another in Gilroy, both right near by. So, I can make it a twofer (or threefer)!

And they say the short board contest was repetitious...

That it is. lol

The one girl almost got her head taken off on a barrel attempt. The wave looks fun, but it certainly doesn't look easy.

I saw vids of CB local Scooter getting a couple head dips out there. I'm sure you'd be fine.

they had to make them wear leashes for some reason, as Tudor never would have wore one...anyone know why?

To prevent a loose log from damaging the sensitive bottom of the pool, which apparently is very expensive to fix (needs to sell a lot of Outerknown boardshorts to cover the cost). This is just something I read and can't confirm if true, just made sense

So they could step on it and get it twisted.

I heard there were far more wipeouts than completed rides, which is why there was not much footage. sounds like a challenging wave for a big long flat board. super tight steep pocket so not much wiggle room, wish we could have seen some of them wipeouts LOL
