"The ruling is fairly narrow and does not end amateurism in college sports. The NCAA is still allowed to forbid benefits that are not related to an athlete's education. However, it allows for college athletes to receive education-based benefits like free laptops and paid post-grad internships."

Nick Saban of Bryce Young's NIL Deals: "It's Almost Seven Figures"
Alabama coach Nick Saban discussed NIL, and how quarterback Bryce Young has capitalized on the recently-passed legislation.
HARRISON HOLLAND19 HOURS AGO

Sophomore quarterback Bryce Young, Alabama's presumptive starter in 2021, is yet to start a game of college football. But he's already earned close to $1 million in off-field endorsement deals.

Via NIL legislation, Young has approached seven figures before taking an official snap as the Crimson Tide's starting signal caller.

That is great news for Lil Scotty Frost, cause he might soon be in a conference crappy enough that he can actually get a few W's in the ole W&L columns! It will be like the good old days of padding is numbers by beating the Tulane's and Temple's of the conference world.

fyi, Nebraska is in the Big Ten conference.

Scott Frost is definitely on the hot seat though. Nebraska just hired a new AD. I imagine if Coach Frost doesn't at least make a bowl game this year...he's out. In the media conference yesterday, Nebraska was picked to finish 5th in the Big Ten West.

If Texas/Ok leave the Big 12 that would leave them with just 8 member schools. An Implosion is soon to follow if it happens. Probably 2025 when it happens as Texas notified Big 12 they will not be renewing their TV rights then. SEC will be the first big 16 team conference. I'm sure that will shack things up. Big Ten will want to go 16.

AAC looking to poach Big 12 leftovers
While one reading of what's next for the Big 12 after the departure of Texas and Oklahoma has included picking up new members from the American Athletic Conference, it's possible the hunters will become the hunted and the AAC is going to make a move to add the remaining teams to its existing lineup. The Athletic is reporting that the AAC is expected to "act as an aggressor" and attempt to pick up remaining Big 12 teams, "perhaps as a group."
