The funny thing is that Trump isn't demanding that we even have the upper hand on China. He is just working towards trade being more fair than they have been between the two countries. China has been accustomed to screwing us for so long that it looks like a hostile action to even demand that the United States be screwed less. Same goes for the changes he is trying to make in regards to the United Nations and NATO.

It also is a strategy to drive manufacturing back to the US or at least out of China, which is not a bad thing at all. At the same time, this has pretty much negated middle class tax cuts. I have no problem with it, but many will.

So the tariffs plus China's retaliation is not making our country bend over? You seem to be smiling....

Trump's tariff were designed to help with the trade deficit. The trade deficit is at a record high.

As far as business, if you operate in their country, shouldn't you have to abide by their rules. If they come here, they have to follow ours, do they not?

Stealing intellectual property is a problem, but Trump doesn't have a clue as to what he should do about it.
