For over 40 years the GOP has effectively assumed a position of being better equipped to handle national security, or having a more unwavering interest in US national security, compared to democrats. How can they continue that narrative, and keep a straight face? They've endorsed: secret meetings between trump and Russia with no advisors present; denying facts as to foreign interference in domestic matters; appointing ambassadors with no diplomatic or foreign policy experience, committing malpractice; tasking private citizens / friends of Trump to engage in foreign policy; giving the Saudis a pass on acts of terrorism within the US; complimenting dictators; undermining US interests; denying climate change...and the list goes on. Hopefully the dems., independents, and electorate will no longer let the GOP claim bragging rights in this area. The republicans' putting party over country are truly vicariously liable for whatever current and future damage Trump's handling of foreign affairs has caused to US interests here and abroad.

Dems can no longer claim to have any members with an IQ over 50. Their posts and actions are getting dumber and dumber. Guess that drastically raising the defense budget - which was gutted under Obama - doesn't count as improving national defense? Apparently, dems are dumb enough to buy this drivel.

House intelligence committees duties: Mission: The Committee was created by the Senate in 1976 to "oversee and make continuing studies of the intelligence activities and programs of the United States Government," to "submit to the Senate appropriate proposals for legislation and report to the Senate concerning such intelligence activities and programs," .... This is the group that is supposed to make reports concerning National Security.... This is the Group that stopped all National Security duties in an effort to Impeach the President.... When Republicans Chaired this Committee they attended to National Security matters BUT Democrats don't give a shit about National Security when they are losing the Election so badly...

Yeah, nothing to stop an incompetent president except impeachment.

The president meets with Putin in Helsinki and publicly endorsed the lie that Russia wasn't involved. The president states on 60 minutes that he would accept foreign aid in the form of dirt from a foreign power. Mitch McConnell hears this and blocks a congressional attempt to budget an appropriate amount of money to combat the Russian attempts. All of this while the GOP takes millions in donations like it's just politics. When the DNC informed the GOP that the stolen hacked info from their servers. They told the GOP that the Russians hacked them and please don't use this stolen intel. But the new GOP used it knowing full well where it came from and how the f ing Russians were pursing their agenda of sowing chaos with their treasonous help. It's a new day all right.

Funny. I am not surprised that you didn't address the FACTS I posted.

Russia Russia Russia. The GOP's silence is their loyalty oath. Complicity. They think their passive approach to Trumps active efforts somehow absolves them of their complicity. They have been feeding this monster and watching it grow and now they cannot control and don't want to kill it. It will kill them.

Obvious, isn't it? Clearly plotting to steal the 2020 election the way he did the one in 2016. You guys had best make peace with the fact that you will have Trump as president for the rest of his life Then we'll have Jared or Don Jr. Great times ahead, progs, albeit not for you.

Trump, Pompeo, and Lavrov meeting today. Just good buddies, talking about totally non-corrupt things.

trump and Putin, two kleptocrats feeding their people lies and enriching themselves.

America had a good run, but no biggie in the context of history. Flash in the pan.

So it turns out that someone gave Lev Parnas a million dollars earlier this year. You will never guess where that million came from. Ukraine. Kidding. No, obviously it was Russia. Such a crazy coincidence in a long line of crazy coincidences that begin and end with Russia. I am starting to wonder how Trump can still be so friendly with Putin when faced with all of these crazy coincidences.

He has no shame. He would probably copyright it and sell it. The GOP would buy the first hundred thousand copies.
