OAN Newsroom UPDATED 5:40 PM PT - Monday, July 26, 2021 Dr. Ron Paul has warned of Soviet-style political persecution of conservatives amid detention and torture of January 6 protesters. In an article on Monday, Paul wrote the conviction of protester Paul Hodgkins was a miscarriage of justice. "He said the words Joe Biden's Justice Department wanted to hear," he explained. "Words reminiscent of the sort of Soviet-style confessions beaten out of political dissidents the world over: 'Joseph R. Biden is rightfully and respectfully the president of the United States.'" "He was number one of the list. He was the enemy of the state." Dr. Paul pointed out around 500 conservatives have been faced with similar political charges and sentences for protesting on Capitol Hill. The Christian Reconstructionists want to "reconstruct" society to one that is led by their church. They hit upon this "libertarian" veil because they can pretend to just want freedom but the reality is that they believe that if they get the feds out of the way that they can take over local and state governments and institute what amounts to sharia. The Pauls are not libertarian. They want the secular federal government disbanded so they can have Christian local and state caliphates. This is silly propaganda too.
