The Supremes have, to a point, been the "easy way out" for a lot of issues.

If Everybody has "rights" that are not clearly defined in the Constitution of the United States, then it is up to the Legislature to do their fooking jobs and pass appropriate laws to "codify" everybody's petty wants-and-needs.

1) Carbon can't be eradicated from pollution by 2050 because humans are made of carbon.

2) Biden hasn't put anything into law. The Clean Power rule was proposed in 2014, and was never made law. The SCOTUS five decision wasn't against Biden.

3) The SCOTUS 5 reversed the 2007 SCOTUS decision to give the EPA the power to control coal plant emissions.

The clean air act and the clean air act amendments were handled properly and are very stringent on criteria and HAP pollutants. CO2 is not defined as a pollutant, methane is.

I don't think christians, such as those who have taken control of the court and run the GOP, take stewardship of the environment seriously because they believe in magic; They think their imaginary friend can reset the whole thing whenever.

Scientific Fact CO2 is in reality a 'pollutant', 'defined'. or not, & esp if not done by 'true scientists' not bought & paid for by the fossil fuel industry.. , and by politicians - & esp when interpreted by scrotus type ilk..

Like I said the 'definition' of CO2 as a 'pollutant', and it's legal treatment is a matter of political definition, but that does not change the true science or reality of it's global effects on our climate, and related geopolitical 'side effects'..

Yep, we exhale CO2 with every breath, but overall it accounts for 80% of total greenhouse gas emissions; 20% = methane etc etc.. and it's not coming from living things exhaling.. Power plants, cars etc are the true culprits.

'Defining' something is just a play of words and does not change it's effects - BUT the choice no regulate, or not, does..

Just like the effects of tobacco use were denied by big tobacco forever - until..

The culprits have known about the side effects of CO2 emissions for more than decades but it is not in their financial to fess up - until....
