Some storylines:

New Mexico State a couple weeks ago upset Auburn. Liberty is 12-0 and with a win might get into a NY6 bowl. However, Tulane is higher ranked currently.

Oregon/Washington: Washington won the earlier regular season game with Oregon missing a field goal at the end. Oregon is favored by 9.5 points. Winner probably going to be in CFP final four. Pac12 breaks up next year, with the two teams going over to the Big 10. both qbs in running for heisman.

Oklahoma-State/Texas: OkieState knocked Oklahoma out of conference game with 2OT win over BYU. Texas is heavily favored at 13.5 points. Most articles I read doesn't give OkieState much of a chance. I hope the Cowboys can upset Texas. Texas in running for top 4 CFP.

Boise State/UNLV: Boise fired head coach. 2.5 point underdogs.

SMU/Tulane: Tulane favored by 3.5 points.

Michigan/Iowa: Michigan huge favorite at 23.5 points. Harbaugh is back on the sideline for this game.

Georgia/Bama: Once again. Georgia favored by 4.5 points. Bama with the exciting game over Au in the iron bowl may give them momentum. Georgia playing for a 3rd consecutive National Championship possibility.

Loserville/FSU: I haven't read up too much on this game. Pulling for FSU.

FSU's defense may pull off the victory but they are limping on offense without their star.
If Oregon wins, than Bo Nix may actually get that Heisman.
Texas is playing well.
TULANE!!!!!'
Michigan takes Iowa easy in a game that wont be interesting in the second half.
Watch for Bama to take Georgia by surprise. Bama has improved all year despite having insane luck this last weekend for a victory in the Iron Bowl that should have been a cake walk.

If OKie St beats #7 Texas, and already beat current #12 OK, and UCF beat OKie St 45-3, then UCF will be declared national champ again.

Every time I get to the bounce house, I wonder what Malzahn thinks about that national champions allegation in their stadium.

That 45-3 game was definitely an anomaly. One of the funnest UCF games I've attended!

"Malzahn thinks about that national champions allegation in their stadium."

For one, it's not an allegation. It's a fact.

Also, Gus has been asked in media interviews and he says he agrees with it. He basically said what most people agree with that Auburn beat both Bama and Georgia who played for the NC that year. And, he said UCF had the better team out of them that year in his perspective.

UCF was the only undefeated team that year, then went on in 2018 and went undefeated to and eventually losing to Joe Burrow's LSU Tigers by a TD who went on and won the National Championship the following year. UCF was that good for both the 2017 (Scott Frost) then 2018 (Josh Heupel) years. McKenzie Milton got hurt end of 2018 and if he didn't we probably would have beat LSU in that bowl game.

CFLDave and Gus M - UCF did not win the NC no matter how much you guys whine. Neither of you can claim any kind of objectivity. Get over yourself!

btw, Dave, every time you start this debate, you reinforce my much repeated argument that it really was better before the BCS and whatever this current fool's errand is to determine a single, undebatable NC. And it is really going to prove my point when they try to get down to four teams this year.

I've read stuff this morning about "who's who" in BCS rankings and, , , , , lots of folks aint gonna be happy.

The Michigan Wolverines are in.

The Washington Huskies are in.

Lots of 'everybody's' favorites are sucking hind tit.

DP - another data point in my crusade to blow up these attempts to determine a "true" champion; it cannot be done, it is a fool's errand.

Dave - are you going up to tally when they hang their nc banner after beating a second tier team in their bowl?

I am unpleasantly surprised.

Complete bullshit. ESPN-SEC axis of evil.

My Irish buddy said if they tried this with a Rugby team there would be cars flipped and shit would be on fire.

Garcia, the CFP is an invitational, not a true playoff. The NCAA recognizes UCF as co National Champions in 2017. Sorry you don't. The Florida Gov at the time recognized it. A computer poll recognized it. The banner hangs on the UCF stadium. Your opinion is your own. Besides, there are many National Champ claims that has asterisks beside it. Until college football gets to a true playoff system like the NFL, the subjectivity of it all runs supreme.

The AP Poll got the rankings right. The CFP didn't. FSU should be in the top 4.
