Johnnie Blalock was briefly involved with Seeker Surfboards, mainly in retail sales. Jim MacDonlad and Buddy Smalley (rip) also worked in the retail shop. This helped with the problem of the 3 partners frequently closing the shop to go surfing. Chris Martin first got his fingers sticky laminating boards, went on to become a boat builder. Alan Worthington (rip) was first team rider.
