I've been playing with Topaz denoise AI, which sometimes can get rid of serious image noise in low-light situations without making everyone look like botox victims. Here, the sharpening helped a bit (the guy's ear looks a bit better), and water looks a bit better.
And another from Jan. 24. Both Sebastian Inlet.
More Topaz, Jan. 24. The good lighting didn't need much cleaning up.
Newly edited image from Jan 3, 2018. This was done with a cheap 75-300 mm lens. BTW, the camera equipment is all Olympus. The parent company is selling its camera business, which looks very much like it'll be discontinued fairly soon. Pity. More photos here. Flickr album

Good photos to start with. Topaz's sharpening has impressed me. It won't help out of focus, but if you had a good in-focus shot, it will do smart things to it.
For something completely different, this is a 1.6 second hand-held exposure in a spectacular conservatory where the specialty is seasonal shows. Most of the plants get replaced several times a year. This was dusk.

A relative newbie, Jan. 12, 2020 at Sebastian Inlet. Topaz sharpening was a bit hard on the face, so I need to do another try but everything else is noticeably sharper than the unedited original.. Which isn't necessarily needed for the wave.

Bare flat spot on the left side of the river is Camp RM202 in the Grand Canyon.
