Email to existing customers only, here's the text:

    Dear Vissla Community,

There's a lot happening with tariffs lately, and it's starting to impact surfing pretty hard. Before we dive in: we want to offer you, our loyal community, an exclusive 20% off all wetsuits for a limited time. It's our way of saying thanks - and
helping you gear up before changes hit.

Wetsuits may soon cost more - there's a lot of uncertainty right now, and we don't have all the answers, but here's what we know:

Due to recent tariffs, the surf market is seeing some serious shifts in pricing. While we've kept things steady as long as we can, it's looking likely that wetsuit prices could go up significantly in the near future.

We're not here to alarm you. We're just here to be honest with our community - because that's what you deserve.

If you've been thinking about upgrading or even getting a fresh suit for next winter, now might be your best window. Take advantage of this exclusive discount, it's only available here for our loyal customers.

Code is UNWAVERING for 20% off. They also have some 40% off items at their clearance website, The Stoke Outlets

I intended this for For Sale or maybe NPNR, but the issues for surf-related small/independent businesses are serious. Vissla is indeptendent, Rip Curl is owned by a New Zealand retailer (Kathmandu), and there's flocks of small providers of board shorts, wetsuits, and lots of equipment. A few are able to maintain US production, but even Birdwell imports some of its stuff. CustomX makes bodyboards in Calfornia, but you can bet it's likely to largely be final work using imported ingredients. I don't know where surfboard blanks come from any more. Swim fins? I think largely Malaysia, some Taiwan.
