NHC will initiate advisories on Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine (formerly AL94), located near eastern Cuba, at 500 PM EDT (2100 UTC). Hmm, curious what Ismelda's forecast track will be. No Hurricane Matthew part 2 please. That Tuesday/Wednesday forecast still looking fantastic.

The forecasts have been in the direction of us getting a great fetch of swell once Imelda is out of the way. The question will be, where to take the camera?

The five day forecast track for Imelda is amusing. Looks like steering breaks down in Humberto's wake so after Monday there's no good idea in Imelda's position. I'm curious about what the outflow from Humberto will do to Imelda is Humberto does get to 150 mph intensity.

These two are really driving the models crazy. GFS has Imelda off Canaveral mon, SC/GA line tues, rebound out to sea weds. Check wind, 20+ offshores?

You can guess my prediction on shape and form. Unless there are cross swells. That's a game changer.

Forgot to say lunchtime GFS has Imelda pulling a loop and heading back toward us. Crazy stuff.

12.5 feet with a 14 second interval at the 20 mile buoy. Wind gusts to 30 MPH from the North East.

It's a sand removal machine on an epic scale.

The Streets in Cocoa Beach had no beach this evening. More wind, more swell and the moon will be Full in two days. The north jetty at the Inlet might become a sand dune if this keeps up.

11 feet at 8 seconds. If you want exercise, here is your chance.

I wonder which is worse for erosion? Short or long period swells?
