Well, well, well, , , , never seen hail like that at this house in the 37 years I've been in it. Still have accumulated piles in the "nooks and crannies" on/around my back deck.

The next-door-neighbor lost a lot of branches from his front yard maple tree. I'm OK, for now. MORE on the way. Batten down your hatches.

Yeah, unfortunately we had that here in St. A around 5am.... awoke to the sound of rocks being thrown at my windows and off every metal roof vent in the house.... and about 1" rain in 2 hours

my screen enclosure looks like it was in a war zone.
I have an empty boat trailer in my driveway (for a 20-24 ft boat) that was pushed 50ft into the middle of my street.
A few cracked windows that were facing N.

I saw lots of cracked windshields in and around eau gallie yesterday after it passed.

I did save a bag full of ice to add to some liquor drinks in the future.

Got caught on I95 yesterday. Was lucky enough to find an overpass just as it started. Sat under there for 20 min waiting for it to pass.

Seems like this would have been a candidate for one of the emergency broadcast warnings ?.?.? Originated in St Aug - a heads up from the NWS would have been nice for all the southern counties. I guess they only do "this has been a test...."

Thank God for insurance, hood & roof beyond repair, the whole driver side are trashed on both mine and wifes car, both cars getting a new hood and roof, damage totaling over $15,000.00 Had golf ball size and larger hail hitting for close to 10min

Getting a new roof for the house also, shingles are trashed.

How do they replace a roof? I was tempted to not file a claim on my wife's car, but I heard claims based on "Acts of God" can't be used to raise your rates. Any insights on this? In particular wrt Geico?
