Am I going to get towed if I park and walk across the street at a place like rc's or Hightower or something like that? Dying to get wet, any useful input would be appreciated.

There are little waves. Cocoa Beach is serious, but Hightower is kinda in no mans land.

If you don't park in a closed lot you are fine.
It's just the beach access lots that are closed for now.

Today I attempted a surf session parking at Publix, SB. I have surfed this spot since 1976. Never have I been denied. The twin towers of hell have worried me for 5 years.
Today was the reality check.
I had my board on the ground, waxed it up. Wife has her chair, towels, water, umbrella, check, check, check.
Up comes a truck PME. Property Management for the shopping plaza.
You can't park here says my rastafari friend.

Shut out. 44 years continuous beach access. My fears have been realized.

Ok, we can try tricks and techniques, but in the end we will be denied.

I've been telling Da Lite for 5 years. Well, guess what? Today I did not surf.

My wife and I considered options of stealth, and saw cars at Goodwill near Grant, surfers parking at Walgreens, back in the neighborhoods, at other businesses closed on Sundays, etc., but in the end what about Monday-Friday when everything is open? This is about the ultimate sellout by John Stone at Sat Bch telling me 5 years ago that we had the north access at Scorpion Court and 25 feet deeded between Lung Rx and the south tower of hell only to find out it was a lie based on Sat Bch allowing a verbal promise by a bastard developer.

The north access remains there, correct? I seem to recall the south access would be 6', not 25. Is it no longer in the works? I was at the meeting where the developer agreed to it. If city recordings exist, that should be something that can be found, but they probably don't retain records that long.

My spot was fun on the shortie and no hassle. Hell, there were more people out today than I've seen in quite sometime.

Cole's right. CB doesn't get any respect. Well pretty much because it doesn't deserve it. But it has been ridable on a shortboard and fun the last couple of mornings. Just park back from the beach. it's no hassle yet. Even the lifeguards are on duty.

dude!!! Down south a couple of blocks it was actually working on mid to lower tide. Some decent sand bars right now.

The bus is free till april 30. you can take your surfboard on the bus.

I haven't surfed RCs since the condo construction, but
1) Is the north access still there?
2) Are they allowing or planning for a 6' access on the south side?

Anyone know if the parking area for Spanish House is closed? It's across the street from the beach, but I'd guess they probably closed it.
