I was surfing a hollow day, on South Side of Frisco Pier NC, last century, with 100 of my closest pals.. I caught a wave, got covered and ate doo when it closed on me. I was laughing as I got augered in the bottom and felt a sharp pain in my finger. When I came up, I had a cut on my stinky finger and blood was pouring down my arm. I was going to paddle in but, the line up cleared. I got 2 more waves and came in. It looked like a razor cut. I thought shark. One guy said it was a blue fish. If it was a BF I wouldn't have a finger.

slimy, i agree a blue would have taken a finger in your situation. it does beg the question though, how many 'shark bites' are blues or macks cutting through bait? ive caught both big spanish and kings right off the beach and see them sky rocketing after bait all the time

I was right.

I don't fish. I've had an agreement with them, that I won't pull them out by their face, if they don't drag me under by my feet. One flat day there was a giant school of blues churning the water. My surf bud then, BH Huggins(because he was a Butt Hole), threw a bare hook out and caught a 3 footer. He tried a half an hour to get another, but they left. He dragged it back by it's tail, threw it on his tailgate and reached over it to get his scale. With it's last "breath" it clamped onto his shin bone and died. BH was screaming for me to help. I was laughing too hard to do anything. Karma's a beotch.

nice video! the "are you gonna surf again?" portion cracked me up. I got bit last fall surfing NSI (left foot as well) and that was easily the most common question people asked me when they found out

That's some funny stuff right there and well needed these days. BTW this video was not filmed in South Africa......
