Way back when, at a mid-60s Canaveral Pier Contest, I met Murf with Hobart Alter. I figured that both of them were way too old to surf!!

I am happy he apparently found salvation, but, that is between him and God. As for his debt to man, he should have conducted his ministry in prison. He should have never, ever been released.

He could have done things very differently after his murder sentence. I think there are some broken vessels that carry more water. It's too bad he didn't sell the rights. It has the makings a good movie.
