https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsZU2_hDpH4 (Kim Jong Un is not a stand up surfer ---- but he does own an extra thick Boogie Board and just might well invade the South for a Session or Two ? ) Multiple shacks , its only a matter of time before they have Nine plus wave sets and a perfect point break aka Snapper Rocks or even Kirra or Burligh Heads in its prime ....

That would be worth the airfare.. Almost. I like my salt water nasal drip though.

Surfline's text:
Wave testing at Wave Park remains in full swing with just 7 days to the public opening. Covid-19 made it difficult for international surfers to travel to South Korea due to the obligatory 14-day quarantine period. However, some Wavegarden technicians and their families obtained special permission to enter the country. Here, Kai Odriozola, Hans Odriozola and Eneko Merino test out one of our right hand barrels.
Wavepool Mag has some WaveGarden "cove" sizes for comparison. Fort Pierce will be as big as this one, larger than Melbourne's Urbnsurf or The Wave near Bristol, England. No info on Myrtle Beach.
American Wave Machines is apparently opening a rather limited indoor wave pool at a huge mall in New Jersey across from Manhattan that's been more or less under construction for many years but has suffered one setback after another. PerfectSwellSurf
