Friday's pink sunset in Ft Pierce was something.
I was trimming the tall hedge at the old Japanese Garden pond at Heathcote Garden. It's kept its shape and margins but the bottom was taken out, all sorts of plumbing installed and it's now a little paradise for Koi fish. Won't be open for this weekend's small plant sale, and it'll take a while to look like something other than a construction site, but will be worth a visit later on. Look at the perfect ripples in the fine gravel in front. Could be Kyoto. Someone in our part of Florida is selling perfect Japanese garden material. This project was an incredible labor of love.
So much for pumps and air bubbles. Next week looks like sloppy entertainment. Maybe bring the camera along in case someone's found crash & burns?

Yep, swell + winds on the way. Should be a few morning pockets... and potential HT kamikazee waves. Sunset up here was nice too. I was out on the kayak, it made up for all the fish I was missing and bugs I was getting bit by

National Weather Service notes the highest tide of the year, about 9 pm, thus the coastal flood watch. They also expect building seas this afternoon.

I had fun on a mayo egg. Good exercise and occasionally I connected a few slabs together. I needed that.
