Ok, so I'm settling an argument with my wife about pooping in your wetsuit. Who here has done it? She doesn't believe that anyone would do that. I did it once at reef road and had some horrible mexican food for lunch and I couldn't hold it and just went to a place down the beach in the water and just let it out (serious diarrhea) and let the waves flush my spring suit out. It was winter time.

Also, she won't believe that most every one likes to pee in their wetsuit when the water is cold and that it feels good. Help a man out here.

I'm not a sick man, but when you gotta go, you gotta go.

Also, if you haven't pooped in your westuit, have you pooped in your trunks in the line-up?

Pee in the suit. np man. not a sunday picknic but we all feel the need to pee once the water hits our feet.

but poo in the suit! hahaha! no way! and no, i never dropped a load in my trunks. in extreme cases i have HEARD if ppl dropping the shorts in the line up and breeding a few brown trout, but not IN the trunks! lol. ack!

I did poop once in the line-up once in Aruba, it wasn't diarrhea, the nearest bathrrom was 30 minutes away, there were too many people on the beach but no one in the water so I let a few turtles go. They floated around me for about 5 minutes and then they left. I was laughing.

Poopie in suit - Definitely not!
P in suit - only if absolutely necessary.

I've read several articles that state sharks can smell urine in concentrations as low as 1 ppb (same as blood). That is enough of a stop me!

Bad practice overall. Plus, it might put your name on the endangered species list!

That is one of the nastiest things I have ever heard! I can only imagine how it smells when you take it off on the beach, "flushed out" or not!

In over 40 years of surfing I have NEVER....EVER....dropped a doodie in my wetsuit. In fact before EVERY surf, I conciously take a mental status of risk for doodie, and take appropriate action. A good wee wee? Sure I have...in fact I reccommend it!

I personaly have never pooped in the suit, or trunks for that matter. I have had a frind that let a turtle loose while we where checking Boardwalk one morn. He just shook it out like it was a pebble in his shoe, and left it laying at the base of the steps. And just so y'all know, his knickname is HANUS (with good reason). LOL

You guys are all prudes (sp?). I flushed it out real good, no problems at all and it didn't stink. The ocean cleans everything. Fish and Sharks poop in the ocean, why can't I? I don't like poop at all, I don't smear it around, it was an emergency situation.

So my tactic could work. Next time I'm down at the inlet I'll make sure to go to Cantina Dos Amigos before and poop all over the damn inlet. First peak by myself (whenever it starts breaking again)!!! Excellent! The manatees will love me.
