Was there week or so helping my nephew learn the ropes. Looks like the kid in the tan pants is the kid (Jake??) I saw RIPPING the park apart from one side of the park to the other. upside down bowl swoop to wrapping frontside smith to frontside air in smaller bowl. And then ridiculous lines all over the place on the rest. Big backside airs (no grab), switch no handed 270 on the 8' wall. This old guy was thoroughly entertained to say the least!!!

No, he was from down south and it was his first time visiting the park. But you are right, there are some seriously good skaters out there. The 11 or 12 year old girl Smith Grinding the deep bowl put a big smile on my face.

I'm doing late work hours for the end of the month, so it will have to be next week.

It's a sick park. The kids are alright. Lots of fun, free, challenging and easy.

Just curious as I never wore a helmet when was young and a skater, but are there any pad/helmet rules there? if no, surprised the insurance company that covers it for the city allows it.

I wish all this skate parks were around back when I was a skater. I always had a hand built half pipe in my backyard in high school and college. I'm a little jealous to see all the skate parks around nowadays. Back in my day SKATEBOARDING WAS A CRIME. I can remember when Satellite Beach passed that skateboard was illegal in the streets. That was my main source of transportation to go to the beach. Many days and nights skating away from Officer Fat Frye. Sorry for the flashback. Wish I could skate again.

Helmet use is about 50/50. I am 100% pro helmet; it's fricken concrete.
