Of course Monday morning. When is it not Monday morning? Otherwise known as the day I have to drive from the coast to some god forsaken inland town for work.

Fortunately/unfortunately, I did it in reverse and used my "retirement" in my 20's when i was still fit, strong and a decent surfer. Don't get me wrong, I still get queasy when I see good waves I can't ride, even when the riding ain't what it used to be.

If by "queasy" you mean driving up to some classic bombs and then paddling out and getting some sick pits I hear ya!!!

If by "queasy" you are bummed because you are missing it, you ain't. You are still killing it Cole!!

I agree with Stirfry but maybe I have "All-timers". Dude it was all time back when!

I would go with the eye injury. A metal flake in the eye. Always unverifiable and bloodshot eyes from surfing are not going to get you busted. For use only when there is a west wind, it's bigger than chest high and you can be back to work after lunch. That's a lot of planets to align but summer is coming so....

Keep an eye out for next weekend . Possible ground swell , winds still iffy for Saturday , but Sunday looks pretty clean. It's a Carrot to get you through the week .

Weekend def was a bust in CFL areav- best I saw was Sat late late pm in CB ~4th St S, wind was strong NW peaks stuff.. Rest was junk wind or high tide mush with side chop.. Didn't see much evidence of a NE swell.. Allegedly later this week? NE swell Season closing quick ..
