I'm sure you guys have noticed, that Surfline is forcing you to create an account if you don't already have one. The reason they are doing this is so that they can limit you to only check their site 3 times a week for free

It's $10 a month. Boohoo. I'm all for it anyways cause now all the casual guys won't be checking the cams. Surfing has gotten too accessible for everyone.

I canceled my subscription a few months back when they renewed me at 100 per year. Inconsistent reporting, over calling, going green on days the wind is onshore and high tide....to me, it just isnt worth what they increased the price to....this new restriction - my guess would be that they are struggling with membership and that is a move in the wrong direction to gain members IMO.

I hear you, but everyone and their brother wants $10 a month from you these days.

I finally paid just cause I like their Ocean Ave cam. Plus when I want to take a mental surf trip I can watch good views of some good spots. I find their forecasts to be generally accurate in winter, but frequently off in the summertime.

At least they finally have a working cam at Pavones at the point. I'll keep paying just to get a sideways look at that wave
