$195 round trip, then there's baggage. Spirit of course lists a lower price, $122.... Similar fares to San Juan on JetBlue & United.

Shoulder surgery coming up. I won't be able to drive, 2nd half of August, so expect a fruitful string of offshore hurricanes. The shoulder was hurt in Oct., odd beach accident. At the time, it seemed OK but in May, suddenly painful. Ruptured tendon.

A few years ago I tripped over a flower pot, landed on the right elbow (unhurt) but the impact ruptured the rotator cuff, which was already partly cut through by a bone spur, which was removed when the repair was made. That was two or three months of no driving. For me, aging is meaning a lot of body repair. Major dental work is going on right now, too. I was put on a heart function stress test Tuesday. The screen was showing tidy patterns. The cardiologist will provide the lowdown on Friday.
