And here I was complaining about the rocks here.

Ya, the first time I "crawled" down the cliff at Honolua Bay, , , , , my session was not too fun, , , , because I was worried about making it back up the rocks !!!

Kinda like Guacalillio in CR. I camped on the cliff for a week there a life time ago.

At Honolulu bay, coming in trying to judge the wave surges was sketchy enough but add a mongoose on the rocks staring me down. He finally took off. Still the most beautifully spot I ever surfed.

Stayed up towards Boca Barranca but surfed Guacaillo a few days straight. Loooooong time ago too. The cliff was sketchy yeah...but man...that shorebreak!! Breaking way out by that spore rock with 5 or 6 foot straight up and down shorebreak breaking in ZERO inches of water. Timing essential but after that the paddle out wasn't bad.

I honestly believed that I was probably one of the very few people in the world that surfed there. We called it crocalillo. Big Salty croc hanging out there. But was what a wave. We were taking off right at the water boil and launched into a very heavy left.
