Lows in the thirties even in Palm Beach. I guess I will find out.

Depends on how good are the waves. As you know the water temps will be mid 70's.

I don't need a wetsuit tomorrow. Probably gonna be blown down by then, unless maybe south FL

All I'm gonna need tomorrow is a hot cup of coffee

<- Lunchtime special friday! First real full suit session in real surf, uggh. Takes some getting used to. Water is actually not that cold (65), it's the air shivering me timbers. Not sure Sat is going to be much fun with a morning high tide and freezing cold honkin offshores predicted, maybe later towards noon when the tide and wind drop?...

Friday AM in the misty grey cold, clean with a touch of size, almost CA-ish, EXCEPT, the water's still warm. Moderately over temp in a good 3/2 full, sloshing a bit of water in to cool down. Nice morning. Super windy at dogpee:30 this morning. Max sez back to bed.

I have a brand new Bodyglove fullsuit heritage series 3/2. Its so light and flexible and comfortable I look forward to wearing it. I tried a bunch of suits, the sizing is so unrealistic I couldnt find one that fit until the BG was suggested The heritage series is described as "old-school, for broad chested surfers with traditional back zip". Waves were so fun Friday and the suit was perfect. Hardly felt like I was wearing a full. Was hoping for a repeat today, would have probably added booties, but the wind is not cooperating.

Agree on the sizing, and impossible to try on around here; it is FL after all, how many fulls are you going to sell? Ripcurl says I'm a medium but am much happier in their large short and am not a big guy. Go figure.

I found a sweet bar in-between at the Base. There were a bunch of people surfing in a hole a few hundred yards south of me, then, as always, I got a few long ones and they joined me at my bar.

Cocoa Beach looked better around noon, but i had crap to do and missed it.

Dahui321, good to know! Current favorite is a 3/2 Volte backzip, so lightweight it feels like a 2mm.

Yes, wetsuit sellers have their own ideas about size. When I asked Feral about size, they explained that back zips are good for broad-chested surfers. They offer quality ones--so I suspect they (based in San Francisco) have a fair number of customers who have problems with chest or zip-free entry.
Hotline's XLS is more or less most others' XXLS. And they have a chest entry for guys who don't get along with chest entry.
Volte backzip XLS fits me fine, some others not so much. XLS chest zips go from impossible (Matuse) to good (Volte again). Volte's only selling one wetsuit model in the US right now, a 5/4 hooded. Perhaps a casualty of Australia's shutting itself off (they're from the west side of the country, where Perth is the farthest commercial airport from Florida. I want sometime to fly there, one way via the Pacific, the other via Europe.

I saw a link on here years ago to a great discount wetsuit site. Does it still exist?

That's it Tom, thanks. Unfortunately, they only have three SS fulls to choose from; two back zips (screen door wetsuits) and one that ww says fits like a straight jacket.

Pleasuresports.com has their warehouse here in Melb. I used to order from them when they had a larger selection and carried XCel.
