Absolutely EPIC ! Hands down the best live sporting event on the Planet ! ( I would imagine Kelly is rethinking this retirement talk ------ if he can still win events , then obviously he still has the ability to win a 12 th World Title and one of the stops on this years tour is Teahupoo , an event he is always a stand out at and has won multiple times before .)

During the broadcast, one of the commentators was explaining why Kelly is The greatest "Athlete" of all time for anything, anywhere. NOBODY's records can come anywhere close to Kelly's.

Even though I was only 13 or 14 at the time , I was more or less Steve Sr drinking buddy , we had a deal where I would baby sit Sean ,Kelly and little Stevie on the beach while he went out to catch a few waves and in exchange he would buy me beers for the rest of the day . Kelly always had a fascination with the Seagulls and would run after them every chance he got and then I would have to chase him down for like a block or so and carry him back over my shoulder ! Stevie was still in diapers at the time and both Sean and Kelly thought filling up his diaper with beach sand was the funniest thing to do ! Then the two of them would beat the shit out of each other with their Boogie Boards ! Great memories !
