I was there in 2012. By the time they would have decided to "make the call" that day, the forecast for the next day Sucked so, no Eddie.

The day I was there the surf, , , , , was enormous and the line-up was full. Most all other beaches were "red zoned" and taped off.

Pipe was Out of Control!

SSN I was out there the winter it was last run.... sick run of waves. Of course they run the Eddie 2 weeks after I get home

Hey Ding. I was there too for my Brother-in-laws wedding. Got up early the day before and surfed Jackos/Chun's Reef and a stray early set closed out the whole bay. Broke my board and I washed in on the rocks. I made the wedding a couple hours later... The Eddie was going to be the next day but scrubbed due to too short a window as well.
