I've had a problem with losing balance upon leaving the water. If using swim fins it's usually a good idea to remove them before reaching shore anyway, but even with that kind of precaution, the balance and ability to adjust to water movements that was so effective on the way out, disappears. A couple of times, I've had to crawl out like a puppy dog.
Searching indicates this is a common problem with triathletes, so there's a bunch of online advice and a technical but pretty clear little study of Dizzy Triathletes. Looks like a nicely designed small study, ending with advice: wear earplugs. Works for me.

I must confess; there have been times where I have been known to pay extra to "feel dizzy".

Am I alone?

I'd completely forgotten Tommy Roe. I couldn't figure out how to make my hair neatly cover the ears. Hair spray? Had outdoor jobs.
I lived in a Wyoming town whose "historic district" was a row of bars on one side of the street (which all burned down later on) and a more respectable one in the Washakie Hotel on the other side. They were sort of graded on one's interest in getting, or administering, a bloody nose. Over in Wyoming's resort, Jackson, the fire that did in the Wort Hotel and its Silver Dollar Bar was tragic--but the replica is OK.
